EDITORIAL | NYLON
A visual for eco-sexuality, conceptualizing romance and sensuality in nature. The film features flowers with atypical placement. Tucking them into bras, pant tops, or even using the flowers to obscure the model. The film challenges the role of nature in fashion by posing the question: is it just a feminine-leaning prop or can it play a more suggestive role visually as well as sexually? The film features text from the collective conscience, from news publications or overheard conversations. Taking inspiration from typography artists such as Ed Ruscha. The text is meant to challenge the arc of a narrative and storytelling, leaving it up to the viewer to derive meaning (or not) between the image and the text.

Custom content created specifically with social media platforms in mind. Intended to give audiences experiencing the film on social the most concise, powerful, and sharable version of the content. The collages below are made using short segments from the full length film (usually only a few seconds in length), and often incorporating 3D film photos captured on set or archival film from my personal library. These collages can be made from video only content or with photography stills. Fashion and portrait photographer Kate Owen is a frequent collaborator in the creation of these collages.
